Angela
~ Veterinarian
Angela
graduated in 2004 with Honours and the surgery prize
from the University of Melbourne. She left to work
in a busy regional hospital in Mildura for several
years, completing post graduate study in emergency
medicine before travelling and working around Australia
for 6mths. She has spent the last 2 years working
in London and travelling throughout the world. In
her spare time she loves triathlons, ran her first
marathon last year and plans to run several more.
She has 2 cats 'Seek' and 'Destroy' who she rescued
and bottle fed from 3wks of age.

Jo
~ Senior Veterinary Nurse
Jo
is one of our senior nurses. She has been vet nursing
for 11 years. Jo joined our clinic in January 2006.
She is married with two children, Barney her Labrador
and daughter Javy and another baby on the way. Jo
is a dedicated nurse who believes in good old fashioned
caring service for clients and their pets.

Shanya
~ Senior Veterinary Nurse
Shanya
has been working at the clinic since October 2006
and is one of our senior nurses. She is currently
completing her certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing.
Shanya has a Bachelor of Science and is dedicated
to the care of animals that come to the clinic. She
is also the proud owner of two cats Hugo & April
and now has a new edition Lenny the German short haired
Pointer.

Josh
~ Veterinary Nurse
After
finishing certificate 4 in Animal Technology, Josh
started working full time at Beaconsfield Veterinary
Centre in early 2005.
He is currently studying certificate 4 in Veterinary
Nursing. He enjoys his work at BVC very much. Josh
will always greet you at reception with a very happy
helpful smile and a different hairdo nearly every
week. At home Josh owns a Miniature Schnauzer named
Oliver and a cat named Brock.

Leesa
~ Veterinary Nurse
Leesa
has been working at the BVC since January 2008, before
working with us she spent two years working with Lilydale
Veterinary Centre, She is currently studying Certificate
4 in Veterinary Nursing and wants to continue with
further studies in this field majoring in Surgery.
She owns one cat Milo who she hand reared from a week
old kitten and an old girl Princess the Kelpie X.

Marnie
~ Veterinary Nurse
Marnie
starting working at the clinic as a full time Veterinary
Nurse in 2005, she left towards the end of 2006 to
have her first child and is currently back working
casual hours. She has been nursing for approximately
15 years and takes pleasure in ensuring animals have
the happiest stay possible in the clinic whilst under
her care. The love of her life (besides her daughter
& husband) is her 7 year old Staffy named Jeff
and her 4 year old warmblood horse Ochre.

Lisa
~ Veterinary Nurse
Lisa
is one of our newest staff member, only been with
us since mid 2008, straight after school she started
her career of looking after animal by working in dog
boarding kennels, now in her 4th year of veterinary
nursing she is loving it. Lisa is currently completing
her certificate 4 in Veterinary nursing. She owns
a miniature pinscher Cosmo & Maltese X Chihuahua
named Arthur.

Tali
~ Veterinary Nurse
Tali
is one of our qualified veterinary nurses and has
many years experience, working in various clinics
around Australia including an emergency centre in
WA. She enjoys comforting and nursing your pets during
their stay with us.When she's not working she loves
walking her terrier X Poppy with her daughter Ava,
as well as cooking for entertainment.

Mel
~ Animal Attendant
Mel
started voluntary for the service component of the
bronze Duke of Edinborough at BVC. She was then offered
a position as an animal attendant. Mel is a natural
when it comes to the care of all animals, maybe because
she has her own zoo at home with 6 ponies, Eddie,
Peanut, Polly, Dorothy and Pumpkin and Max (pictured)
that she shows,3 dogs, Tess, Jackie and Pip, 2 cats,
Chicko and Cookie. And a Quaker parrot, Bobby. She
loves working with animals and hopes to have a career
in the field once completed high school
